well, favorable reviews or not - I cannot possibly miss a batman movie, so I will be seeing it sometime, and so I can’t read your review.
Besides, I think nolan is the best batman director till date (tim burton being the worst), and christian bale is the coolest batman yet (michael keaton being the most serious misfit for the role I can imagine).
Somebody should make a half-decent phantom movie, too, unlike that dumb billy zane starrer. I think the phantom’s biggest fan following must be in India.

Aah..Phantom

Phantom was the only comics I read growing up..now that is a movie I wouldnt need subtitles..

I always hoped that they would really show how he looked at the end of each comics!!!!

What the Fuss ?

I saw the movie over the weekend and I couldn’t understand the fuss that people are making about it being the all time best movie (perhaps in the Superhero’s genre) and even surpassing Godfather in critical ratings. Firstly, it was too lengthy. Everytime I felt like, great the movie is now ending, I can head home and sleep peacefully (i had gone for mid-nite show).. it didn’t bloody end ! Apart from Heath Ledger and few one liners (“Whatever Doesn’t Kill you.. Makes You Stranger”) the movie didn’t leave any lasting impression on me.

The show I saw had subtitles.. but those were in Chinese Hammer

p.s. : In his batman avatar, the groggy tone of Christian Bale’s voice, (of all the things in the world)
reminded me a lot of Amitabh’s voice in Agneepath. And also the flipping of coin is straight lift from Sholay (which again might be a straight lift from some Hollywood movie).. Anyways.. Howdee Scout.. How have you been ?

I know....

It was like “ok..this is the climax”..”No? ok..now..this is..” and it just didnt end.

As it is I cannot understand people talking in their normal voice and proper accents. Imagine my plight!!!!

I did not read past the spoiler alert as I have not yet seen the movie. Will come back and comment again after watching the movie and reading it fully…
