Where the Koel Sings...

Those that roamed the streets with you hunting for summer’s bounty have now moved away. The streets have changed; the trees are no longer there. The loved one that held your hand as you waited in line for ice-cream is now a black and white photograph on your dressing table.

summer shower...

Scarlett,

This is super stuff, liked it a lot… I read this blog in 3 different pieces spread over 4 days and finally I decided enough of this work nonsense holding me back… So took a break on a monday to read it completely at one shot and to post a comment.

This blog, as you so beautifully put it, is “Like an errant summer shower, a memory arrives and leaves you less parched in its wake.”
But sometimes, summer showers leave us more parched, when the thirst, which has been quenched for a few moments, returns with a vengeance.

you write beautifuly, keep writing… All kinds of showers are welcome these days.

Thank you Captain, your kind

Thank you Captain, your kind words are much appreciated. You are so right, memories that return with a vengeance, like summmer in its glory, are capable of fierce storms and thunder. And so it should be…the cycle of seasons eventually balances itself out.

Regards,
Scarlett
