Been here a day and I’ve enjoyed reading and seeing some of the nice stuff you folks post and phoograph! Trying to get those creative juices is obviously easier for some than it is for others. Many of us (raises hand) can barely put a few cohesive AND interesting sentences together. So here’s a fun excercise that involves as many people as are interested! Hopefully, it’ll draw out the lurkers and wallflowers in addition to elite literati of DSS!
Collaborative Story Writing!
Everyone contributes 4 words to continue the ongoing story. Be witty, smart, silly, funny and clean (or not … not quite sure what goes here on DSS!)
And no - I didn’t come up with this! Many fora (forums?) have a thread like this one … even flickr does! Some are many months/years old! And they’re all entertaining … if you can get past how scatter-brained the appear to be! You start to notice trends about what kind of 4 word extensions which folks are more likely to post.
I figured a collaborative forum/website like this would be a perfect place for a ‘discussion’ of this manner. And I can’t find a pre-existing (at least not a recently active) one!
A suggestion … skip the signatures, and keep it to 4 words. Invent words (we all have an edumacation, don’t we?), use creative hyphenation and imaginative punctuation! Knock yourself out!
