Ok…podcasts I have some info about, thanks to Pepps. And ssm…I did google and get some info…most of which I need a dictionary and a tutor to understand. I am way too tech challenged…
But I was more interested in knowing if anyone has already launched vlogs and podcasts….
just a few seconds of google-time brought me these 2 sites … podcasts on Drupal (like DSS) , and then podcasts on Blogger . and maybe a few more seconds of google-effort will produce even better results, so there you go.
things like music-blogs are probably best-served thru a podcast. i’d love to do one, but i have neither the time nor the energy to put all this together.

Audio Blogs are voice content that are embedded in a web page or weblog. The voice content can be of any length, which will be automatically streamed to end-users. Although the blogs are voice based, comments are still text based.
Audio blogs feeds are referred to as Podcasts. Most of the new versions of audio players have capabilities to play these Podcasts. iTunes for example is one among the player to do so. Some of the audio blog sites have a flash based player through which you can listen to blog.
Video Blogs on the other hand are home made videos that are streamed to the end users.

Everyday I stumble upon a new audio blog! Lots of guys are trying their hand at singing and stuff…
I dont have much info, but from what I gather from other blogs, U need to register at audioblog.com. its about 50$ a yr… check it out..
