Gulmohar tree in rain

Few days ago, just as i was making myself a cup of tea it started raining. So took the cup along with some eats and sat in the balcony watching it come down. Right next to our balcony is a Gul mohar tree. It was nice to watch these bright red flowers swaying in the rain with a nice green canopy as a background. Then inspired by Bilbo’s close up shots I decided to experiment the macro function of my camera for the first time. Below are the results:

I liked the thrid pic from the bottom…. it makes an interesting abstract composition.. and the greyish green of hte leaves only accentuates it… nice work.
