taking a bow with a smug look on my face. who can resist flattery? thanx bleu, thanx nitya. blog will be up soon… if not on kerala atleast on chettinad by the end of next week.
came to mind suresh! this is a take-off on ssm’s motorcycle diaries comment…..if you get a chance to see the movie, please dont miss it….great movie, beautiful cinematography…..cheers!
the snap taken by your wife is amazing!!! it is truly God’s own country….
fizz, i tried so hard to let me inside the mosque since the person incharge said that inside is extremely beautiful but had no luck. i tried telling him that in hyderabad they let non muslims into mosques so why should they not let us in here. he smiled and said there things are different there! next time i am in that region i will try again. i did not know about the blue colour. will keep my eyes open for it. the mosque also had a nice covered stepped well to wash before praying.
thanx ano, since blogspot let one post higher resolution pics, i like it more than yahoo.
ssm, that pic inside boat was taken by wife. she likes to frame views. this is the same photo ananth was mentioning in his mail.
thanks Suresh…I watched the mosque one with interest..you know in villages around South India I remember most muslim mosques and houses are painted that color of blue…! I was smiling when that pic did not disappoint in that area
my favorites - “view from the boat” - i like that framed look … and that very relaxed “C & me” on top of the boat. kinda like the kumarokam-boat-version of mo’cycle-diaries ?
