“There i am sure some nice guys will get in at this stop.” Our faces lit up with hope.
A look outside and that decided it for us.
“Girls, it’s Sunday, we can’t be here. We have to get out of this smelly bus.”
“LL, it’s your call. What do you say?”
“I don’t want to be here either. But how? What do we tell them? Is it not going to be so very rude of us?”
“Look i would rather be rude than stay here”
“can’t we just get out without telling anything?”
I used to be an avid hiker couple of years back. Together with friends and family, we would visit even more exotic places of the already exotic island. I would climb mountains with the agility of a …monkey?, get down cliffs through the rope like … a monkey? I used to feel so proud of myself? Oh and specially when people would pause to clap?? I still tell people I ‘hike’, though I can’t remember the last time I went for a ‘randonnée’/hiking trip. I think I love saying over and over how sporty I am, I love the projection of a sporty me in the minds of others!
Dad’s house needed painting, so he asked a painter to come along on
Monday to paint the house. When at 8am, the guy still didn’t turn up,
father of mine grew restless… He waited some more and then decided
to go check out the guy at his home.
When Tshok the dad knocked, Painter’s father answered.
“Goodmorning, am looking for MrPainter. Is he there?,” Tshok said.
“You are looking for my son, eh? He is not a painter, he is an artist”
PainterzDad replied.
Tshok, a bit perplexed, still insisted on seeing the artist son.
my exams are finally overrrrrrrrrrrr!!

Gd-Day

Am I the only one who thinks that Jodaa Akbar is such a major bore?! Hritik Roshan is a hunk alright, Aishwariya a beauty, the costumes are wonderful, the décor (as in the palaces) very grandiose, but the ‘feelings’ inexistent AND the story! What exactly was the story there?
It all started with MrBaloo’s (our big black dog) love story or rather the end of his love story. When MrBaloo’s girlfriend got picked by the MSPCA van weeks ago, MrBaloo was badly struck. He sulked, stayed in a corner of our compound, wouldn’t move an inch, wouldn’t eat. This came as a major shock to us all, for MrBaloo was in all ways an alpha male, definitely not one to brood over a gal. But here we had a poor fellow, crying his heart out for his lost love. Even alpha males have a heart apparently?
Ladies and others,
Get ready to turn green… My sunday rocked and here’s how:

IBL, SSM, Ardra, everyone?? where are you all? SAllll?????
Ananth is happily married, so i s’ppose it’s no use asking for his whereabouts till after at least a year?
You know guys, back then when i was in Indya, you people were my only buddies (!), now and then i think of the good ole days, i badly miss you all.
….Memories of Cold Delhi winters, Gajar halwa, images of a grinning worker at Aggarwal who knew about my secret indulgence swarmed me. I first tasted/ate Gajar Halwa when I was in Delhi, and became ever since an ardent fan of this dish.

I AM HOPING THIS BLOG WILL BRING YOU OUT OF YOUR HIDING PLACE!
Geezzz eversince IBLu got married, he got not a second to spare for us, isnt it?? *Sigh!*
A very Happy BIrthday To You Mister!
Tshok, the dad too shocked just exclaimed on seeing the newsreader of BBC, “what they let old people like that present the news over there?!”
and when Maa switched to ‘doordashan news’, he added on seeing the lady, “this yes!”
OMG, i live in a mad house! The dad will be retiring in another 3 years but he thinks he’s a young lad! arrgghhhh….
When we first moved to Delhi, our neighbours were rather ‘unfriendly’- That word is probably an understatement. In fact those people were arrogant people who seemed to look down totally on us, almost as though they were ready to murder us whenever we crossed their paths. So whilst we spent the first couple of weeks baring large hopeful smiles and hellos to our neighbours, these were irrevocably met with cold stares or surprised looks.
Guys,
here are some photos from home…. I think i wrote nice things about Laila there. Scrape that out. The bitchie bit me ‘yet again’ yesterday. She’s very evil, never judge a dog by her good looks.
Cheers
LL
If it was bad staying behind on my own with the dogsies, it’s even worse staying behind with my DAD and dogsies.
weird thought to have on one’s birthday: "maybe i’ll die today…"
Couple of friends, Nuka and I went to a village to distribute gifts and food over the weekend… some photos…
I had a lot to write about these babies, but thought against. We’ve heard enough of sad stories, i am sure… They smile, they cry, they fool around, they are kids like we were, except without all the priviledges we took for granted.
Following my ‘friends rant’, here be latest stories from my newest little buds.
For the handsomest & coolest!
Happy Birthday Atracus
My friends say “Soy is back…” It never left in fact.
can we please stop talking about IW and talk about me now?
