Well..Its me. Really

I put my pencil to paper
To feel the scratch of graphite
Black letters printed on the face of white sheet
Its been a long time
The writing is cursive and neat
The grammar is correct, punctuations proper
Squiggly red lines do not mar the elegance of my black and white poem
I want to insert a word “now” at the end of the fifth sentence
Sentences here do not part ways to admit a new word
I settle for a /\
The unevenness created now appeals to me
The graduation from pencil to pen was rather quick, I suppose
I do not remember the next transition
I regret I never looked back
To make the most of it I continue to write
